Returns & Refunds Policy


1. No Change-of-Mind Returns


Because every Hopscotch Lounger is cut, filled, and stitched to order, we’re unable to accept returns or exchanges for a change of mind, size, or colour preference. Please double-check measurements, fabric choices, and care instructions before completing your purchase.

2. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items


We take quality seriously. Inspect your parcel as soon as it arrives and email info@hopscotchlounger.co.za within 7 days if:

  • the product is defective or damaged
  • the wrong item was delivered

Include your order number, clear photos, and a brief description of the issue. Once approved, we’ll issue a prepaid return label and either repair, replace, or refund the item at no cost to you.

3. Return Eligibility (for approved cases only)


To qualify for a refund or replacement, the item must be:

  • unused and in the same condition you received it
  • in its original packaging, with all tags attached
  • returned within 30 days of delivery using the label we provide

Returns shipped back without prior authorisation will be refused.

4. Non-Returnable Items


We cannot accept returns on:

  • sale or clearance items
  • gift cards or vouchers
  • customised or personalised products
  • items exposed to pets, odours, stains, or obvious wear
  • hazardous materials (if applicable)

5. Exchanges


Need a different colour or cover? The quickest route is to place a new order after your claim is approved; we’ll process the refund for the original item once it reaches our workshop.

6. Refunds


After we inspect the returned item, we’ll email you regarding approval. If approved, a credit will automatically be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Banks and card issuers may take additional time to post the funds.
If you haven’t seen the refund after 15 business days, please email us.
